However, believers understand that God has everything under control.
James Allen understood this.

Here’s a story from the past to express the latter.
Several years ago, I met a young girl that just moved from another country to the USA. She seemed a little bit bothered, so I approached her, introduced myself and asked her what was wrong.
In a very soft voice, she mentioned that her husband was fortunate to get a job in his chosen field, as it was difficult for him in their country. I said, “That’s great”, but then continued and asked her why she was still so bothered.
She was pregnant at the time and mentioned that she had two previous miscarriages prior to immigrating to the USA and was very worried.
I told her that she needed to understand that the little life in her womb was going to be a beautiful, incredibly, talented and amazing baby. “How do you know that”, she exclaimed.
“It’s called spiritual awareness”, I responded.
Furthermore, I stated that our God has the final say in all matters.
I added, “From this moment on, do not think of the miscarriages only think 24/7 and 86,400 seconds about how beautiful, incredibly, talented and amazing your baby is going to be. That’s it!”
Three months later, she sent me a picture of her beautiful little baby with a note that said, “Tell this story to as many people as you can so they can also have hope”.
Today that little baby is eight years old, healthy and full of life.
